Our clients include fiction and non-fiction authors, large corporations, small businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit organisations. We edit all documents according to the Institute of Professional Editors' Australian Standards for Editing Practice.

Stephanie Walters
Comma Sense Editing was founded by Stephanie Walters in 2016. Stephanie has over a decade of experience in both proofreading and copy editing. She studied a Postgraduate Certificate in Editing and Electronic Publishing at Macquarie University, and is a Professional Member of the Institute of Professional Editors Limited.
Stephanie is particularly interested in helping Christian writers to publish their stories. She lives with her husband and three daughters in Brisbane, Australia. When she's not editing, Stephanie enjoys running, reading, and building LEGO.

Client confidentiality
Client confidentiality is important to us, and we have developed a policy to ensure it is maintained and respected at all times.
Comma Sense Editing guarantees that client work will never be shared with a third party. We understand that many of the documents we handle may contain sensitive and classified information, and therefore the following steps have been taken to guarantee confidentiality:
- Every employee and contractor of Comma Sense Editing has signed a confidentiality agreement.
- Documents submitted to us are kept in a secure online system and can only be viewed by the editor assigned to the job.
- On request, we are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
- All documents are deleted from our system within 30 days of job completion.
Ownership of work
Clients who engage our services retain full ownership, copyright and intellectual property over their work both during and after the editing process. We will never share your work or contact details with a third party. As mentioned above, all documents are deleted from our system within 30 days of job completion.
How we may collect information
When you visit this website, we will only collect information from you if you voluntarily fill out one of the forms, or communicate with us via email.
The information we require to give a quote and perform our services includes your name, email address, and order information, such as documents uploaded for editing.
Information usage
We may use collected information for the following purposes: to provide services, for identification, and to make contact with you regarding your inquiry. Your information is not shared with any third party.
